I wonder what the NT means?
This one doesn't appear to support auto routing for GPS units that do it.
For my City Navigator 2008, the auto routing data takes another 50% of the
data card memory to copy over to the unit.

Might have to copy it over and try it just to make sure.

Was also wondering how to tell if I have the latest version of the maps or is there only one version of Garmin City Navigator Australia 2009 NT maps available which are like 10 months or so old.

    Talking I WANT GARMIN NOW!...lol

hey folks, i just wanna say that igo8 is the best and is equal to garmin (in a way), thing is, i have a 2 din car stereo/dvd/tv/bt/gps, the gps rpogs are on a 2gig sd, i have tomtom (yuk), poinav ( yuk ), igo8 (excellent) igo amigo (errrr) and route 66 (yuk and deleted), i want to have garmin, i love the way it works, my stereo uses wince5, can anyone for the love of god just make a zip file out of their garmin sd? i mean it's much easier to copy garmin into a folder, delete the maps (which i have) and then zip and upload.

this would be a great appreciation, i can help anyone with garmin for s60 3rd edition for nokia's .

    regards to all.

Help please, when I unzip "Mapsource_City_Nav_Aust_2009.part1" I get:

Error creating file: "Mapsource City Nav Aust 2009\Windows\MSI\Disk1.cab"

What am I doing wrong? I'm using IZArc to unzip.

    It extracts ok for me.

Do you have all 3 parts of the archive?
Are they all in the same folder?

    Try using WinRAR.

    Also works fine here.
As WhiteOx has pointed, highlight all three files when selecting 'extract file' option.

Default Problems loading city navigator 2009

    All,

    Just updated to city navigator 2009 Aust. When I try send the new maps to my GPS276C, I get the following error;

"The GPS is unable to program the requested memory region. This could be due to an incompatibility between this application and the GPS. If this error continues to occurr, pls contact Garmin Technical Support"

What the? I have upgraded my mapsource city navigator 2004 to 2009.

How can I load my new maps to the GPS unit?

    Cheers

Does anyone know if this map will work on an 'old' 2610?

    Cheers

I tried an earlier one and despite the initial screen seeing the map installed, there was NO info on the map screen
