Forum Styles

Paul has asked me to install a few different forum styles with the intention of eventually changing the default to something the majority of members want.

At the moment we have the standard default , Black and Gold and Blak Ice which doesnt have everything working 100% yet. Feedback is required as to what sort of theme you prefer so please vote in the poll. I know its a basic question but I need to know whether the majority prefer a light or dark background. There will of course be a choice so anyone can change to whatever they prefer at anytime , but the current default theme will be changed to something a bit jazzier

I have a couple of months spare so will be doing this as a bit of a project to help out without the stress and time frames that I used to have So please give a bit of an indication as to what you like. There is a drop down box at the bottom of the forum where you can change style so tell me what you think. All will stay permanently as long as they can be made to work 100%.

The darker one is easier on the eyes when reading long posts.

Always used the light one. The dark one always tripped my eyes out, which is rather wierd when you consider how much time I spend on a green screen as a kid.

I voted not fazed.
The light ones run 99% of the time.
The dark one helps after too many hours on line, handy to have.

I prefer the darker screen, its easier on the eyes and uses less power to display a dark pixel rather then a light one.

for those that actually worry about colour used using more power, buy an lcd for gods sake!!!!

Any comments on " Style Reboot " ? Its something a bit different , not too dark , not too light......obviously it would need modifying to suit our needs.

You can change styles in your control panel if there is not a drop down box at the bottom of the page.

LOL, kinda reminds me of Windows 3.11 I prefer the default style but that maybe because I've been using it a bit. If it was the only style avalaible I think it would be suitable for me, its not a huge amount of difference from the default style.

Pretty hard to read (i think its the blue background). Not bad but ive become too use to forum default.

I prefer it the way it is (light version)......the dark version does this to me

Light blue for me.. easy and Im used to it ever since ive been in here..

Default style works for me, particularly with low vision like I have.
