People I hate, in order of importance

    1) parking inspectors.
    2) people that drive in the right hand lane
    3) everybody else
If you feed ducks at a pond, chances are your bound to feed a goose or two without even knowing it.

Strange when someone offers to beat and work their faces and bodies for free, they refuse it. yet they take it up at rate payers expenses.

    Im confused.

Council CEO Kathy Alexander said yesterday several OH&S issues had arisen "due to the physical and sometimes stressful nature of their work".

"Fifteen-minute corporate massages were offered to staff as a new and creative way to relieve stress and anxiety," she said.
I'm sure that if the recipient of the parking ticket were allowed to apply a 2 minute massage to the body of the parking inspector, The recipient's stress and anxiety would be somewhat assuaged.

Didn't say anything about it being a lie....just a beatup to make it sound more than what it actually is!

I do notice the fugures quoted are over a two year finacial period, probably for effect more than anything.

A number business's would have some form of "EAP" (employee assistance program) written into their HR handbook/policy or even contained in whatever industrial agreement covers their workplace, and more than likely this is part of that package, if it can help reduce workplace injury and cut the cost of the workcover premium the good em.

So what would you think would happen if workplaces didn't have programs such as this in place? I'm sure they would have no problem in passing on any rising cost of their workcover premiums and that would apply to any business.

Surely osci the option I offered, or a similar variable, could be considered to be contributing to the "Duty of Care" provisions in the OH&S regulations.
