Since its inception two weeks ago, "The Brocial Network" has attracted more than 8000 members, including at least four players from a Melbourne-based AFL club.
The site features hundreds of images of women in bikinis and lingerie, obtained from the personal Facebook photo albums of the members' female friends.

There was a jounalist detained in Qld the other day for recieving a photo. He didn't actually try to obtain it. The law is so far behing all this stuff that it will probably never catch up.

I can see alot of guys being befriended.
It just goes to show, if you don't want people to see your photos, don't upload them to any site.
One major problem is people don't/can't delete alot of their data and don't understand that alot of it is visible.
I'm in the secondhand business and the amount of photos, I have to delete of computers/cameras and mobile phones is mindboggling. I need to go through the files to make sure the new owner doesn't get a rude suprise.

few of those files have been floating around for a while.... callled facebook babes or facebook beauties something like that (if its the same thing) as what michstv is saying.
also they is a few called facebookcollege babes or equivalent (might be different to what the link is on about)

The problem isnt always pictures that you upload but what others do. Anyone can upload a photo of you that they have taken or grabbed from your shared pic's. A friend had an ex boyfriend post some private photo's, open for everyone to see and tagged alot of her friends in the pic just to be a jerk.
I dont see this as being much different than the "post your GF" threads and crap like that on other forums, but i do disslike facebook so im in for the the FB hate.
I've never had a Facebook account and never will. I do have hotmail though only for chat.

I think this was inevitable to happen Mick....Some people despite being told of the dangers with that particular website simply have No effing idea....from what I read yesterday it appears to be a pretty simple process althoughtime consuming.
