Default Ordering an online pizza - why so hard?

    Hi all,

Is it just me being unlucky or is this normal?

Eagle boys and dominos both have online ordering - both don't work.

on 3 occasions they take the money from the credit card order (Eagle x2, Dom x1). the order then fails - please contact the store, and cannot contact store are a couple of the messages.

Ring Dominos, complain, get free pizza, ring Eagle complain and they demand a copy of your bank statement to prove the money was debited from your credit card.

Anyone on this forum suffered the same ?

Remember what the rich people say:

Buy cheap and pay often, - there is no substitute for stupidity.

You wipe your bum after each crap, why don't you clean your teeth after every meal?

There is no shame in being uneducated nor in being stupid.
The true shame lies in knowing that you are and doing nothing about it.

Only the living worry about dying.

yup Eagle boys new system is shithouse, I tried it, and ended up ringing them, they reckon it was at my end (they do not know who they were ####in with) . I notice you get 30% discount ordering online , good way to make sure no one gets it.
anyways I get into the shop and talking to other customers who were there for pickup (mind you everyones order was only 5 minutes off) 3 of the other 5 people in there had the same issues. big pile'o shite from Eagle boys
oh yeah if any Eagle boys reps read this, you owe me two frikken gourmet pizzas, i get home and they are bloody normal pizzas, ring you guys up and get denial of everything, not frikken good enough

    Default Eagle wankers

Same with me for Eagle Boys, tried in Jan and April (kids b'day parties) with the credit card, just got error messages, try again shortly blah blah....first time went to dominos, second time thought phuck this and rang them up and complained. Got the online/credit card discount price for cash and free delivery
Obviously they haven't fixed anything so I won't be using them again. Like you say, how hard is it to get it right? It's so competitive you think they would put some effort into it.

I have had an issue with Pizza Hut on line. I wanted a peperoni pizza with pinapple, onion, double cheese & double pepperoni. Whe you try to add more than one topping, it throws a hissy fit and you cannot go any further. Contacted their website & store but it is still down. Bloodt techs, too busy having coffee.

We ordered Pizza Hut Pizza on a public holiday told them which store they quoted 20 minutes and we went down to the store and it wasn't open. Rang them back and they assured us it was open... After assuring them it was closed i even said I'd email them photos as I was standing out the front they refunded our money. Morons.....

Go to Google Maps and click “Get Directions.” Get directions leading from China to Taiwan, and look at instruction #48.

I've used the pizza hut online service a few times. Never had a problem - I'm sure I've ordered a half 'n' half pizza too.

No flack from me, you are spot on. It's the kids that think the chain stores are the best - sucked in by the marketing.
Even better - making your own.

I can understand how much easier it is for them to use an online ordering system but for the end user it makes it hard, most would give up or not follow up a $10 pizza.

When I moved into my house I had a pizza turn up one night, they ordered it online but did not change their address when they moved out, I declined the pizza but could of easily kept it.

It's a pretty simple system but must be failing at the local store level.
