Default McDonalds about to start home delivery

    Hi all,

While I was trawling the web for comments on fast food pizza outlets doing home delivery I came across this comment on a blog. Anyone else heard this?

But the question is, "would you order MacDonald home delivery"?

Remember what the rich people say:

Buy cheap and pay often, - there is no substitute for stupidity.

You wipe your bum after each crap, why don't you clean your teeth after every meal?

There is no shame in being uneducated nor in being stupid.
The true shame lies in knowing that you are and doing nothing about it.

Only the living worry about dying.

Now I understand why they have such a dire financial problem

    Sorry I couldn't help myself.

How many times have they got my order wrong in the past when going through the drive through, lets see if its profitable if customers keep sending drivers back with no money and food thats gone cold because the order was wrong.

Imagine how little the drivers would get paid.

There was KFC home delivery for a while in the early 2000's.. so this might be a good idea.

When I'm 1000k from home and need to take a dump at 6am I will stop and have a bacon and egg Mac muffin and take a Mac shit.
Would I pay to have to have it delivered to my home which is equiped with an adequate kitchen where I could create something that is fresh, hot and tastey in the same time or less? No bloody way!!!

would be handy for the fatties that are to big to get in a car and drive there. and you are right about it being cold by the time you get in the car. they now make them to order instead of having them ready but they still get cold quickly. as for re-heating them dont you just love a microwaved Big Mac! when the lettice gets cooked. yum! NOT pizza is cold enough when they deliver those even from domino's with there so called hot boxes they carry them in.

If you feed ducks at a pond, chances are your bound to feed a goose or two without even knowing it.

Is that the pound burger? where you get 4 1/4 pound patties or something? I feel sick thinking about it.

A mate in indonesia told us they deliver maccas over there, he's been ordering it and getting them to deliver it to him on the beach. They use scooters to deliver it but you would guess that in asia.

I wonder if you'd have time to throw the picklel at the delivery guy before he left.

I am not sure, been a while, only ever done it once.... was like 8 patties or something (burger/cheese/burger/cheese/burger bit of lettuce. repeat etc)????? not 100% sure....trying to think of the name..... I do know that the MCD asked if I would attempt to eat it all in the restaurant (sic-hardly a restaurant really.).... which I said NO!...best $25 wasted ever!. probably cost $1.50 at best

edit: I can say, 100% I through heaps out, I'd estimate 1/2 of it....
