our aircon supplier has raised the cost of R134a to $76 per kilo from $39. all i know is the "price" has to be guilty
We are told that any business that blames the Carbon Tax for price increases will be fined.
From the lips of Juliar, It is not a tax it is a Carbon Price.
Therefore no one can fined for blaming a non existing Carbon Tax.
Go figure this one.

Which on its own is incredible considering they admitted that prices on some items would go up because of it.
So if you have to actually raise your price due to the carbon tax, you have to say its because of something else, even if it isnt.
Only Labor could create something like this. Roll on election.
we will not ever know the real cost of the carbon tax , because its not listed on bills as a separate line item like the GST is.
its a double tax , as when the bill is totalled including Carbon Tax oops "Price" , GST is calculated on the new higher amount = more GST revenue.
Juliar told me my electricity, for one, would rise because of her Carbon Price (Tax) so my input costs have risen. No problem, my selling price must reflect this. So to prevent yourself from prosecution you need to state " the price increase is due to Juliar Gillard".
Semantics, got to love it.

Seriously guys actually look into things. You only get fined if you falsely blame the carbon tax or inflate its effect. Lets say that your costs go up 0.5% you cant increase prices 5% and blame it all on the carbon tax.
