Bruteforce. You mean monkey's with typewriters?

I'm obviously missing something. What is the source of the data we're using brute force on ? The white noise of the universe or just some non-terrestrial signal?
If we actually find a signal, there is not need to brute force anything.
If ET exists, we don't care who he's placed the call to or what phone company he uses.

Asians building space elevators. They're doing lots of whacky stuff.

Space is easy to find. Hold out your hands and there it is.
Question is, what constitutes that space that you don't already know about ?

So is there different sorts of space? Now that's got me thinking (any area that is not occupied by an object would be space).
Its not actually the space we want to know about, its what is there, or not there.

Space can be occupied by an object.
Space can have matter in it, be it gas liquid or solid.
We tend to think of it as having nothing in it.
Nothing is just the term we give to the objects in it that we don't know about. Even a vacuum is full of all kinds of traversing particles.

Looking at dark matter in the galaxy. Does this unknown err.. matter exist in the space in front of you as well as the inner parts of spiral galaxies ?

Relatively speaking, the universe should be the same where ever you go.

I know it will take forever to get the data because the robots will be so deep into space but when we are dead humans will still be going strong (i hope) and maybe it will take 100's or 1000's of years to get data to earth but someone will be still here to receive it.

Think about it if we had the tech 100's or 1000's of years ago and some did send robots out into space to explore and we just got back some data back today we would be very excited.

Anyway I got a bit carried away. It's time for you to tell me you're ideas.
simple a robo sapien with a nuclear battery prob solved, lmao
