    Yuck and yuckier.

Sorry, I'm probably just spoiled but I really hate Huygens eyepieces. Make most use of the yuck, er I mean H20mm one.

Big bright Moon in the sky tonight. At least here. Looks like the southern states are cloudy. It's always the way when you get a new telescope.

Cant see the nieghbours sorry weirdo.. Did see the moon with nice detail and tried to look at some planets etc but I'm still getting used to the controls. I found the H20mm better then the SR4mm but that maybe proven wrong as I get used to using the telescope.

    Thanks

Funny you say that. I was listening to latest Slacker Astronomy podcast and they mentioned the same thing. They joked that clouds are shipped in the box with the equipment.

That must be how the clouds know just when to be inconvenient as I've had a modest scope for nearly 6 months and only had a handful of suitable nights in that time. Got a reasonable view of saturn one night though and looking forward to more nights like that one

Hope it's clear for you but you know what clouds are like.

Yeah being down south as well I'm sure it will rain. I'll bring it down anyway because the worse feeling would be is if you left it behind and its a really nice night for it.
