The squid which was accidentally caught in a fishing trawl off western Victoria, weighs around 245 kg, making it the largest giant squid that Australian researchers have encountered. It is estimated that, intact, the animal would have been over 12 m long.

Odd I started to watch it and then stopped and returned and downloaded it to watch latter on. All of which did not need any password ??

I've not been to that site before so nothing was cached in terms of logon etc.

The male squid has a 1.5 metre penis which it uses like a nail gun to do the business with the female squid and then quickly flee's before she can catch and eat him.

The suckers having fine rows of teeth were a bit of a surprise too.
