MIO P550 TomTom7

Hello all I have the TomTom running on my MIO P550 with an inbuilt gps it has loaded app version 7.450 (9028)
Map Aus v720.1868 and it seems to work OK but the trck on the map takes about 5 seconds as you drive along to update my GPS is inbuilt and the setting is Other NMEA GPS reciever and the baud is 4800 and the com is gps_com
Has anyone got any ideas about getting the gps to update quicker.

Thanks for the help when I loaded the POIs onto the TomTom by default the POIs are all ticked which of caurse slowed the gps down turned most of them off and its running really good

i have a similar setup and was wondering why its
so choppy, i will check that out on mine, cheers.
