Go into the menu. Make sure you are in advanced menu mode. select settings, under navigation make sure keep position on road is ticked

Hi, Thanks for your help, but that did not work it was already ticked. I think the whole map is on one side, not the car. I am confused, but I am sure somebody has same issue and they would see this and come back to help me out. Thanks again. Cheers!

Hope someone can help... I have installed iGO 8.3 on an Omnia but when I launch the program I get the splash screen, it says 'INIT API' but fails to start and splashscreen disappears. Any suggestions or ideas?

Hey all.
Have put IGO8.3 on my mio moov 300 with the aus maps and when I go to load it up I get an error about there being no languages installed.
The rapidshare link earlier in the thread appears to be removed so could someone please upload a new one for me?

I think those are the files I am after.
I exctrated the English US and UK ones to the lang folder in IGO8 but still the same error appears.

"Initialization error: no language files were found"

Am I extracting them to the right location?

Short answer . . NO .. only TomTom Maps work on TomTom.

New version runs ok on my A636 except it does not resume properly after standby and crashes.

Pity as this update has the worldwide licence file and additional resolutions.

I have installed the 8.3 on to my X350 Binatone and it works a charm!! All my maps, voices, poi's etc etc are running. Only problem seems to be the unit wants to turn itself off after a very short amount of time.
Other than this glitch, all is sweet.

Any suggestions?

I am running all the EU maps as I am currently trekking across Europe.

The voice files need to be left in the .zip format and put into the Language folder. ie don't extract them.

hey dazza, sorry if i sound dumb (new to all this) but is igo r8 the same as igo v8.3.xxx?, i have igo r8, and when started it says "failed igo320_240.dll/loading.bmp".

p.s, i can't understand why no one just copies their entire file, zip it and then download it, and is there any link to download and install garmin on my 2 din car stereo running wince5? as far as i am concerned these 2 progs are the best.

finally got igo 8.3.xxx to work on my 2 din chinese car stereo running wince5, now the only thing i want to get going is garmin 5.0.20, it comes on and up but keeps asking me for an 8 digit code, so, what is the code? any suggestions?.
