    Easy Activator is not really DOS like - it runs like a normal Windows program...

    I put all the pois in my map folder that i got from downunder/puca (it takes ages for tomtom to load up lol) they seem to be working, however i think they are conflicting with my existing/default poi's, puca's poi's fit my screen nicely, but my original poi's icons are to big in the selection menu.

    Also on the map screen, some poi icons are just red but i think that happens coz my device does not draw the icon properly when i move the screen around, I'm using a screen res of 320x240..... (the default icons are too big on the map as well. see images

    look at my screen shot

    On another note, sorry if its off topic, but i used the easy activator for the Safety_Cam_AU_TomTom.ov2 and placed the dct file in the map folder as required. But how do i know the cameras are activated ?

    For me i went into the TomTom Traffic menu on the first menu page and there is a menu for safety cameras. I guess if you do a simulation trip past where you know a fixed speed camera is located it may show up there too...

    edit: the menu could be 'tomtom services' sorry i don't have it in front of me.

    You won't be able to update the cams through the Tomtom services unless you have paid for a suscription!
    If you need the latest cams download them with Keygen3.1G and copy the two file for Australia into your mapfolder.
    If you had activated the cams before they will work straight away otherwise you have to activate them with the keaygen.

    thanks downunder, only problem with KG_v3.1F or G is that it wont let me access the keygen app without a tomtom device... it gives error saying "connect tomtom device" retry / cancel....

    You did not upset me !
    I was just pointing out the fact the keygen works that way - maybe I coose the wrong words!
    Do you have a card reader?
    If so you could use the device id and serial number of your Navigator.bif on it to "fool" the Keygen
    I can give you further instructions if you need!?
    But I can simply upload the new cams as well...

    it worked by placing the Navigator and map folder to the root of an SD card (with sd card reader) and the bif file in the root, like u said, yeah i tricked it. I was going to do that, but i didnt think it will work so i didnt want to waste my time.. thanks for that.

    I pressed the speed cam download button, it says "successfully downloaded check your speed cam folder", (it creates X:\KG_v3.1F\SpeedCams\World_TomTom)
    but there is nothing in there ?

    I did have both options unticked (override and update)

    is this the latest speed cam ? (got it from Safety_Cam_AU_TomTomOv2.ver)

    [Description]
    ID=Safety_Cam_AU_TomTom
    Version=3562
    rectangle=-11843819,3916151,15354837,-4286499
    subtype=safetycamera

    my Safety_Cam_AU_TomTom.ov2 is 22.8kb

    EDIT: additionally, when i go to backup DCT's, it creates a DCT folder but nothing in it...

    Im more concerned about the speed cams really...

    I downloaded 73 POI categories from ,they are all in the Tomtom ov2 format.
    If you need POI's for a different GPS system go to the website and download them for your device - almost all GPS brands are available!

    There are 73 archives in there ,unpack the file you want to the map folder of your device.
    The pack includes ,bank branches ,speed and red light cameras ,public toilets, holiday parks ,7eleven and so on ...
