From my research on other forums it seems hollowman that you already have the Q1 2009 map.

So next time you decide to make comments about other peoples posts I suggest that you do some more reseach yourself.

As you will see in various other forums this link has been alive for a long time now but it seems that they have finally realised what people like us have been doing.

It's interesting that I was having the same problems downloading from that link, as I kept getting Illegal Download messages. However after using the same link in a message on PPCWarez which gives an anonymous connection I was able to download successfully. So it look like some IP addresses are blocked but not others. So it does or did work sometimes.

Referring back to your post re the maps on PPCWarez, I downloaded the version 8.0.4621,and the matching Navkey from the post by Enviro8 as this was supposed to work with all 3 maps mentioned. I already had all 3 maps, however after installing it all, I find that all 3 maps are still locked. So I have gone back to 8.0.6126 which works fine with the Navteq maps for Aus(2009Q1) & NZ(2008Q3). I would still like to get the Sensis map working so if anybody has any ideas please let me know.

Hi Ian,

Sorry I can't help with this map version.

If you look through Enviro8's post I mentioned I think he indicates that it came from an Aldi Tevion GPS device which will have its own map key etc.

So I think the chances of getting it to work on a non Tevion device is probably limited.

Generally I found that R66 versions seem to be locked into one of either Navteq or Sensis maps and if you try to use the wrong one then often it doesn't even recognise the map.

Sorry but that's been my experience with R66.

daz, no need to be rude and call me a prick ? i didn't call you names, all i said was it never worked for me. Your not adding value to the forum because your a angry man and you shouldn't be like that, just be nice please.

- even if you use an anon ip/link, it still doesn't work, i have done my research a while ago. r66 is not stupid, they blocked the hole very quickly, possibly thousands of people may have been able to get maps before they blocked it completely.

I have added "value" to this forum, and provided help/knowledge (see my posts)
