Is this version of Destinator for PC? I've tried it on both a Vista and a XP Pro box and it comes up with the same 'Destinator.exe is not a valid Win32 application' error.

The maps included work fine in the Destinator 7 for PC that I have though, but Destinator 7 has that nasty memory leak

No problems,

The maps that are included in your link are working fine in Destinator 7 for PC and also the CarPC software Centrafuse. Centrafuse uses the Destinator core as it's navigation system.

Yeah it can but not for very long.....it has a nasty memory leak however if you shut it down & restart it every 30 minutes or so it will be fine!

I've written a short program to address this issue...it can be found from the link below with a description of how it works etc.
