![]() | Interesting that the Navteq 2007.Q2.7389 at 55mb; is a lot smaller than the earlier Sensis 2006.Q1.4262 (an 80Mb rar). Also rather odd/interesting that Destinator appear to be sourcing both Navteq and Sensis maps? Perhaps you could post your (Sensis v.14 latest version) 'frecklesnoot' for a comparison shoot off ![]() PS Does the Highway 1-350 or Cobalt support TTS? |

![]() | The old Sensis map is 106mb unrared. But no matter ....... it's a much better map from my quick browse. And it's definitely Navteq (my local river is plotted correctly with 'width' in Navteq, rather than a simple straight line as in Sensis). Thanks fandtm666. Navteq maps have better 'country' detail IMHO. It appears to have reduced poi. And Destinator 7.0.0.588 TTS works just peachy with it. ![]() |

![]() | My guess is you'd grab the 'WCE_A.POI' from the earlier version and copy it over. http://aycu24.webshots.com/image/398...5775525_rs.jpg |

Nupe It complains that it is for the wrong map. Opening WCE_A.POI in notepad indicates that the version of the map it is associated with is contained in the file, perhaps this needs to be ammended in a hex editor? Hmmm where has my hex editor gone? | |

| Junior Member | OK I have Aus 2007 Q2.7389 Running on Dest 7, however I can't get the Text to Speech to work....From what I have worked out this map doesn't have the required MapStreetTypes.txt. Does this mean that this map can't do Text to speech? Thanks |

![]() | If it doesn't TTS, simply copy the 'GloStreetType.txt' from 'Destinator\Language\All' folder to your 'Australia' folder. Not sure if you should rename to 'MapStreetTypes.txt'? |

![]() | Hi frecklesnoot, Thanks for Sensis 2007.Q1.5244. ![]() That's got plenty of Pois and TTS's along just fine with D7. I prefer the Sensis map to Navteq 2007.Q2.7389 (a few less errors in my backyard), but Navteq may be better in some country areas. |
