Default Navcore 9.026 for most devices

you find three packages for the brand new 9.026 Navcore.

The 64MB version is for all devices with a big screen (480x272) and 64MB RAM.

The ONE X50 is for devices with problems using the above version or more basic models without BT FM and so on.
Make no big difference except that a different .cab file was used to make this version.

The ONE self is for devices with small screens - no matter is they have 32 or 64MB RAM - but it is optimised to run on small screens and 32MB devices.

As always the different Emulations can be changed over the menu - no switchfiles need nor included!
No need to patch this Navcore!

If you have any questions ask someone else.
Ok ,bad joke - feel free to post your questions

Note : this Navcore is currently not field tested ,so you use it at own risk and it is more than recommended to make a full backup of your Tomtom first !

Question 9026 Navcore problem with TT XL340S IQR Edition

    Hi chaps,

I tried this Navcore on my Tomtom XL 340 S IQR Edition.
It works great but I cannot get the Loquendo TTS voices working at all.
This device is a 64Meg memory device with 2gig on board memory. The standard Jane voice works fine.

I have the Australia Map with 840.2562 and speed cameras working OK.

Any help with getting Kate (computer voice) working would be appreciated.

Kate and susan are present in the menus but will not speak and cause the Xl 340S to reboot and not switch off when powering down.

Have you tried downloading and installing the voices using Home?
Sometimes the Loquendo voices won't work properly unless they are installed by Home.
Guess it has something to do with the preinstalled files ,but not 100% sure.

    Hi Dowmunder35m,

I tried installing the computer voices from the latest Home application, but still no success. I have read threads on the net that other users of the XL340S IQ Routes edtion are having similar problems. The GPS is new to Australia, I bought it from Power House recently.

I think I need a programming guru to take on the challange.

Regards and thanks for your response.

What emulation have you tried and what is the official Navcore for that device?

    Hi again,

If I restore the XL340S to its original config, it wants to update to the 9.026 Navcore.
It operates correctly in all respects after I have done this. However, if I install the newer Australia Map with 840.2562 and I use the keygen 4.1G to crack the navcore and maps it will fail to crack with all my virus software disabled. Hence I can get the computer voices working but on the previous map.

I have tried about four earlier navcores and get everything working except for the computer voices. The other annoying thing is that my Tomtom account has my previous Tomtom 1 version 3 as my main PNG and won't let me update it hence I cant update my XL340S for another three months where I could have got it all working 100%, but not cracked.

    Thanks again.

    Ok ,for the updating :
Your device is new ? If so you should get the latest map within 30 days from the first use.
Just create an account with one of the freemailers and use that for Home ,AOL ,MSN Yahoo Hotmail ,whatever you prefer...

    Default No emulation options

    .
Package for One running goog on mine. Sdkregistry folder in root but It does not show emulations on menu. Computerised voices not possible though I copy folders Loquendo, sounds and voices from 9004; maybe some files missing in root for spanish?
    Thanks to Downunder.

The link when loaded has the title of "9.025 Extra", but the Rapidshare has the 9.026 when downloading so I think its the right version

Can't download it yet because rapidshare is busy.
