Gps Underground has sacked all there tomtom moderators

Dunno what's going on but this morning I was downloading stuff from links on the underground,

But tonight the page#

is showing the web server's default page
And the page#

is showing up as "Not Found"

Now has the message that the site has been hijacked.

I also notice that some of the moderators are members of this forum. Perhaps guys you're able to give some hint on what happened. I personally found the site to be incredibly useful and your involvement much appreciated. I would be sorry to see it gone for good!

I go on gps underground forum everyday. around 5 members were banned yesterday. including at least one from here. another member posted so many complaints on every thread complaining about the admin staff about their ban that that person was also banned. Shortly after that the site went down. Those moderators were extremely knowledgable and helpful and a credit to the sie. Updated news from any of those moderators would be appreciated.

If what has trickled out about this fiasco is true, then another forum has managed to piss it's most valuable members off. Unfortunately this time they have paid the price. They should have anticipated that people with the experience these guys have could easily do them damage and apparently have. Hopefully one forum's loss will be another's gain.

Thanks for the information, it is sad if we have lost this really good map resource. It had probably the most comprehensive marine chart list available, (I had uploaded a couple myself).
Some months ago they banned what seemed to me to be a hard working and helpful mod from Canada, I never understood why and felt it was the forum's loss.

Hi guys i was a TomTom mod on gpsunderground i will not go into too much detail about what happend there is no need for it to be commen knowledge but i will tell you that there was a situation and the site boss (GPSU) s**t on all of the staff, and then went on to ban the entire TomTom team (Bad desicion) , That spell'd the death of Gpsunderground,

We are in the process of creating a new forum it is up and running but we have a lot of work we need to do there as soon as it is ready for the public i will let you know the address.

Sorry i misread the sections i seen the "NEVER" to the far right and thought never equals no garmin
my bad i was half asleep and only glanced at it

anyway i see the Underground now has this posted statement

The admin of gpsu has no team left anymore so how he can ask for money shocks me, that site will not be like before when it comes back without us mods there
