Issue with Chinese Gps System

Hello

I have a pioneer da-975 in car Gps / Entertainment system and i was having a few issues with device so decided to update the firmware , however the firmware stopped halfway through.

When i switch the device on the menu comes up and i am able to play dvd discs , music , watch TV , Bluetooth , Radio but when i select the "gps" function i get a black screen where as before it would boot into igo 8 or most recently win ce (issue i was having before update ) now i get nothing just a black screen.

i have the update program which i copied from the device and i have the firmware is there anything i can do ?

Help is much appreciated.
