There was a thread I started here for Route 66 software and maps for the Nokia N95, obviously is not here any more, but im wondering if anyone kept the details ?

If so can you please repost so I can get my new N95 up and working

Does the N95 have a built in GPS receiver or is an external bluetooth unit needed.

i have a n95 and it takes sometimes forever to get signal, and when it does it doesnt stay for long. while im in navagation mode it can get me lost. im currently using the original nokia software and maps, nokia maps

i just got a 6110 navigator with the route66 and works well even with the network positioning turned of and just using the inbuilt gps

I can't register on the Symbian signing site. It doesn't seem to accept email addresses from optusnet....

Any tips? Won't allow gmail, yahoo etc..

A friend just had this same prob, I had to sign up for him, see if you can get a friend or someone to help out.

i just got a nokia n95 8gb, whats wit this gps paying crap? 6110 is free and this you have to pay for navigation and voice? how can i get it all working for free? gps and voice??

what would they charge you

You shouldn't need symbiansigned to install the maps.
