Thread: Milion 2217

I bought the above 2xdin sat nav/dvd earlier this year to use on an excursion to the South of France which I am currently undertaking. The Sat nav performed ok for the first 3 days then the LCD display went south with the brightness or the contrast going mad and making the display impossible to see. It may be the colours which have gone wrong but I'm not sure it still seems to show red green and blue but its all too bright to see. I have tried pushing in the reset button and restarting the unit , i've also tried adjusting the colour brightness and contrast in settings: all up, all down makes no difference, daytime, nighttime settings make no difference either. Very difficult to make any changes as the screen is so washed out you have to go from memory, although the buttons do show red when you push them (Touch screen)
Is there a fix or firmware update which may fix this or is it dead? Maps are Syngic O/S is Win6CE I think
