| Member | Tom Tom v7.451.9033 for PDA available in the usual places (12meg) and works a treat on my Mio PDA... You will need the latest TT8 KG and if you then unzip the folders and place you device ID in teh right file and copy across you meta files, it is a simple process to then have you Map dic file activated.. NOTE: Installs on to you device only.... NOT your SD card. |

My PNA provides a SWID (DEVICE/CARD) code which consists of 32 characters in groups of 4 separated by a minus sign. What should I use for the XXXXX-XXXXX ? The first 10 characters of the 32? Any ideas would be appreciated. Don

| Junior Member | I am really grateful for the excellent posts in this thread. Thanks to the contributors to this thread I have successfully 'upgraded' to TomTom Navigator V7.45 with the latest Australian maps. It is great on my Axim X51v with WM5, but I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. With my previous version 6, when selecting a destination, I could click on contacts and access the address details of people on my PDA contact list. The option is still there with V7 but it is greyed out and I cannot select it. I'm wondering if this has something to do with the way this version was installed? Following the installation instructions, the exe file is located on the SD card, whereas with V6 I think it was on the device. Any assistance would be appreciated. |

| Junior Member | Thanks everyone very much for instructions on how to get TTN7 running on my PDA (iPaq rx5965) but I am having trouble with the sound. I know that there are 2 dll files which need to be renamed but I can not find which ones there are and what they need to be renamed too. I have searched for BTCore in this post and can only find that there is 2 files that need to be renamed. Also I am having trouble linking in to TomTom Home V2. I am following the instructions by Trav_34 and TTHv2 just won't see my iPaq??? Any ideas on this one? |

I don't remember which two files I renamed, but one should be enough. Find btcorelf.dll in windows directory and rename it to btcorelf.old. Then restart your PDA and test audio.

| Junior Member | Finally I got everything working, including contacts (my previous post). The only issue I have is that I seem to be missing the landscape features that were displayed in Navigator 6 - like rivers, water ways, forested areas, etc. Now the only thing that displays are the roads. Additionally, when browsing the map, the coastline is also gone unless I zoom right in and display the raster images. It's very disorienting for someone who lives on the coast! All help appreciated. |
