Well solved the little prob of no activation on syg maps.. A very tricky little error really....trap for the unwary....

I have finally gotten my Sygic to work with a Teleatlas map of Australia, thanks to the help here and some googling,

However I have some little issues, that I would like to bring up, The street numbers can actually be annoying, is there a way to turn them off? Is it possible to search by street name first before the city and then the suburb? And lastly the colors, I can see where I can change from day to night to auto but not the actual colors for each one.

Oh before I forgot I have been modifying the Menu file as the System time keeps changing and not automatically by the GPS time,

anyone have any ideas

Hi peeps, have d/l the 7.7 map aus.pak and run the license KG and it says regged, but it does not see the map or can i switch to it, all it sees is mcguider 2009!!

Where should it be placed?

OK this works great on my Mio Moov 300
I extracted the following folders into a folder on my SD card

Drive
Maps
Res

Then in my case I ran the drive.exe in the Drive\WindowsCE folder

Mmm I believe you can run Tom Tom using MioPocket......

Just delete \MioAutoRun\Windows\Windows\Keyboard\softkb.dll from your SD card & hard reset (to reinstal Miopocket)

You will then find that TomTom & Explorer.exe will work

Software is available from Ozi Site without the registraion key ofcourse, my maps total about 25GB....some NSW & Vic maps are freely available from some GPS forums & also from some government sites....

The map you downloaded is actually map version 7.54
It will only work with versions of Sygic McGuider less than 7.7

If you are using McGuider 2009, there are no Aussie maps available for that version .. and the old maps don't work with 2009.

I installed the 2009 Mcguider and the 7.7 Australia map, the key gen for the earlier versions does not work with the 7.7 maps

Maybe someone will make a new keygen soon
meanwhile my 7.54 is still working ok
