If your seeing yellow circles it sounds like Primo not iGO?

With the school zones in in iGO8 they only show as the red triangle with times on Sensis maps (R17, R18) not the NT (Navteq ones) afaik.

What maps and system are you using?
Also in Primo when you have R17 or R18 installed the school zones only show when you drive past them from what Ive seen on mine.

When I say yellow circies - maybe I need to be more specific. They're really like little round yellow icons almost smaller than a poi icon. I'm using R18 sensis map and it's definitely an iGO 8.3.5 system which I downloaded couple of days ago from one of uuor links. My previous version 8.3.4?? showed the triangle with 2 kids and as you say, only appeared when you got within 100 metres and drove past them. I get a chord of "dings" and then normal camera beeps as a warning until past them. Worked well. I tried Primo but it doesn't go well in my Chinese unit. Cheers.

Ive never seen those Icons appear in iGO8.
Do you have any changes to any of the downloaded files, the licence folder etc?

Can you link a screen shot to Image shack etc?

Gooday Bazzle. Mate I'm stuck.

I have a 320x240 Chinese GPS running 8.3.2 with R18 no probs.

Downloaded your backup (8.3.5 ?), copied my existing shell.ini and got heaps of problems, Res screen and the numerous other files reported not found in an IGO dir although I could only see IGO8 dir. I dug myself into a hole and started again. Came back here and read about data2.zip so downloaded the package again (just on 4 hours thank you Bigpond wireless). Bummer, I got another set of what I already had and still no data2 zip.

And so I plead.
Could you or one of our other resident supermen please help with just the add on bits, shell.ini, sys.txt or whatever I need to add to the Bazzle backup to get it working on my 320x240.

I put an interstate friend with a 7" onto Bazzle's IGO and he's wrapped. Said it worked out of the box.

Thanks. Sometimes I miss the obvious. Yep the 320x240 res is in the (single) zip.

I'm rewriting the SD as I type but expect the same result. Other than the shell.ini in the root pointing to sd igo8 igo.exe, what other files would you expect I need to edit?

Now why didn't email notification of reply work. It's showing instant email at the bottom so maybe something else to check?

OK I won't hack and fiddle this time. If you don't mind I'll let you know step by step.

I have put your backup as is on the SD and put the shell.ini in the root \sdmmc\igo8\igo8.exe

When I start 'navigation' the screen blanks and the PNA reboots.

My working 8.3.2 has a device.nng (162) in the root.

I just changed the sys.txt resolution_dir="800_480" to
resolution_dir="320_240"

AND IT BLOODY WORKS

OK you've got a zillion things on this I haven't seen not the least of which is mapchanger. It's currently on Navteq Q1. What are the keystrokes to change to Sensis? Is there a thread already about how to access the features.

There is a dull green arrow 1/2 way along the bottom of the main screen page. Touch it.
A side panel on the right will come up. Touch the mapS box..
See what you can find to mess with

The button under it is simulate when your in a trip mode.

Anybody doing mapchanger on a 320x240 Chinese GPS?
I can't find any dull green arrow. Is it possible it doesn't show on a low res screen? Any other way to access all the extra features on Bazzles' 8.3.5.183522 ?

Add this to the skin folder. It has multi res files in ui

All of those files are already in your backup. The program is booting and ran fine on a test this arvo. Do I need to change skin?

Have you tried changing the skin?
Go to the skin setting and see what one is there.
Try a GJ one.

sorry guys noob here.. whats new on 8.3.5?

Well I’m stumped. If I have the std skin loaded all works fine. Can put a destination in and away it goes, yelling directions. But when I use the gj skins, I put the address in, click done and it takes me to the (main?) screen and nothing happens. I’ve pushed every button there to try and get it to start the route directions without luck. So can you direct me please to where is the button to start the directions?

Hi, I just bought a Chinese double DII unit on line and it only came with route 99 and EU map. As most links are dead now, can someone pls give me a link to download these files to try on my new unit??? Thanks heaps.
