I'm also after a set for use on an xbox original, found heaps on the net but you get the run around trying to download them.

I have not updated my collection in a while, whats the latest greatest way of checking what roms sets are missing. I couldn't even guess when my collection was last looked at. I did have it on some dual layer DVDs at one point.

Just did a properties on the folder for the roms and it's 16.8gig (7146 files).

I am interested too. I have a drive I could send if someone is willing to copy them for me.
I can donate a drive to post around for all if someone is willing to copy them for us.

The full set is over 100G I would be happy to copy them for someone if they will do the same for some other members.

The only drives I have over 100G are sata drives.
This will not work for everyone.
I have a few 40G ide's
How big are just the Mame roms?

I can't handle the slow speeds of torrents anymore, bugger trying to DL 100gig from it, I'd rather pull it down from a new server or rapid share or someones ftp.

It's way over 100gig.
Here is a site selling all of them

I think every single one of us let it slip, I remember when i got my set set passing dvd's around.

Torrents are an easy way to keep up to date on the roms imo. If you already have an close to up to date than it shouldn't take long to complete it plus when a newer one comes just point it to your roms directory and it will autocomplete it for you.
