Default Reading SMS messages

Hi all.
Can anyone point me at some info on the simplest way to read SMS messages from an Ericsson mobile?

Thanks, in advance.

Obviously it will be the same way as one reads SMS on other mobile sets.

Strange query.

Are you after an app that "reads" sms messages out aloud using text-to-speech software?

Or are you just trying to find your inbox?

Very good fellas..
Obviously not a good question.
I want to read the SMS messages via a serial connection, probably using assorted AT commands. I have since got hold of an AT command manual for ericsson and am looking through that to see what SMS commands there are.
I have a serial cable and can talk to the phone from a Hyperterminal session from my PC. The final object is to connect to a PIC MCU to do some other stuff, but getting the message out is the first step.
