2007 Q2 is available....

When you sync you 6110 with the Route 66 sync software you will have an option to buy maps, just look for Australia and it will give you the info and price...

I have downloaded the map file but would love to know how to unlock it for use....

Given that the 6110 Navigator is a consumer level phone and the E65 is a enterprise grade phone you can't expect the build quality to be the same. The 6110N is a good phone for what it is. My dad has one and I have the N95, what I must admit annoys me is that the 6110N has free navigation and the N95 doesnt!!!!

Hello all i need some help please.

i have 6110 navigator phone. It got given to me from a friend who found it too difficult to use. He is rather old so this might be why.

Any way, he never got a 512mb card with the maps installed on it, this is what ive read it is supposed to come with.

So i think im faced with buying a new card right but i notice on the phones menu there are world map and Australia map..under extras in the navigator options. The world map has an open padlock and the Australian maps has a key, i cant download any right now it needs the SD card first, same with accessing route 66 software, i cant untill i have a SD card, but will i be able to download the map from the phone or the cd route 66? i only need the Australian map really and how much will i have to pay? I am asking before i buy the card and then find out i have to pay for the Australian map aswell. Or is it built in to the phone under extras?

Many thanks will check back later fr any replies cheers.

ty for the reply, no he bought it new a month ago, he is goingback to the shop where he got it in a few days to ask about why it does not have the card with the maps on it.

also i have done some research and found a maps manager, i know a guy with the same phone and i tried his card in my phone to test it works and it does, so im going to try to back up his maps off his card to my pc and buy a bigger 2 gig card cause thats all i can find other than a 1 gig card here and then try to put the maps on to it. Hope that works.

EDITED:

Allright i bouught a new card (empty) used nokia maps manager to back up the friends maps to pc then used same program to transfer maps to new memory card. Working now.
