nah theres no locked v3i on telstra
u might have a blocked fone
check the imei

sorry.My IMEI Number (352242014158127)is currently blocked by Optus since 22 March 2008 10:37 AM.

any ideas about getting around this as i bought this phone second hand & was unaware of thisblock.

You could unlock it by taking it back to the seller and getting a refund !
