Sony Ericsson K810i and NextG

Hey all. I've been offered this phone, new, Sony Ericsson K810i, and it is supposedly unlocked. Are these phones 3g capable, and will my NextG sim card work in one?

3G yes but not nextG, nextG sim will work as gsm only
