Hello - I'm sure you're all wondering WTF????

but - a friend of mine has spent a good 100 hours editting cutting and cleaning up all the gooey, non war crap out of the two movies, made them into one, following both in real timeline style of a good war movie - like band of brothers

quote - this is how Clint should of made the movie - unquote

I spent a good couple of hours watching it last night - I have seen the 2 individual movies and I would have to agree, and he's done a good job too

so my question - he would like to share his work and asked what is required to upload his work to a newsgroup etc

my experience for this type of thing is just being a leech, but after some reading - I have got it down to a shietload of files with pars, which ends up being a 1.4gig avi - but need to upload it somewhere

any ideas would be apprieciated

I thought rapidshare would have a size limit - total of the whole lot is about1.4 gig - but if rapidshare doesn't have a limit - then might go that way

I was thinking more of a news group or Usenet so it could go on mininova or piratesbay as a torrent

just not sure of the steps to get it there

Rapidshare has a 100mb limit so all you do is winrar the file (best if it is a xvid avi) by right clicking the avi....Add To Archive....in the general tab go to the..Split To Volume bytes window and put in 98mb and the avi should be split to the correct sizes for rapidshare upload

ps rapidshare does have a 100mb individual file limit but no number of files limit so 1.4G is no worries
