Interesting concept based on a book many years ago and has had several remakes in the past, Will Smith is quite good in the movie i feel the cg characters really ruin the movie overall though.

Won't say too much but it's a decent movie to see but i expected a little more from it.

For me i found the movie boring, yes the cgi characters were bad, i think i expected alot more from this movie, some sceans were good but alot were not, as it was a remake of the omega man and the last man on earth, i think the only reason this movie is doing good is will smith.

Haven't seen this yet but The Dark Knight trailer on the front has me excited. Heath Ledger looks completely deranged!

4/10 for me as well, very dissappointed. I wonder if the dog could be up for a best supporting actor nomination ? :P~

i heard the end is not as good as it should be from a friend, but i havnt watched it yet, but im still looking forward to seeing it.

big mick000, can you please spoiler tag your post or something, you don't come in a movie review and actually ruin the ending of a movie for people who haven't seen it yet. One of the reasons i don't say much about the movies i see as i don't want to spoil it for ppl.

Well seen the movie trailer promo at the cinema,download torrent a quality avi from axo,divx dolby surround,good quality, an sat around with a few of the boys to watch,widescreen projector InFocus,Sony.Was bloody good ,we all enjoyed it,tonight!some of the comp.gen graphic for the mutants was bit too fast an almost cartoon like?but sh** we didnt yarn an pi** off for other?
All our beers were dry an we were bloody thirsty an entertained.Good flick an Will Smith earned his money. 9/10 from us.Cheers!

I have never commented here before but may a recommend the original with Charlton Heston - Omega Man.

It was just as slow and boring - but it was good in 1971.

I quite liked it even if I felt it was a modern day version of the Omega Man, right down to the name of the main character, Dr. Robert Neville!

I won't spoil anything , but the ending i would have liked would have included a steamy sex scene
(or partial nudity scene) with Will Smith and the good looking female in the upstairs bedroom
(while her son was occupied downstairs watching Shrek DVD on the huge plasma screen)
, and once that child is born it's blood type would contain the immunnity forumla to save all mankind !
That's the ending i would have enjoyed more than what we got
(because the poor guy hasn't had a doink for over 3 or 4 years) . . . LOL 6 out of 10
