The Mist (2007)

Frank Darabond, who made the Stephen Kings other two good stories ,The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption in to the film gets a bit scarier with this third one.
I don't know how did I missed this but surely it is one of the best movies of 2007.
The same high standards which was accomplished in the other two movies reached in this one too, although it deals a little with super natural or sci-fi here. Like the others, it is into more character development and the fear itself and how it changes people rather than scary creatures. Be affraid of the religious zealots. Be very affraid.
The moral of the movie is; fear changes everything and never give up hope (the last message is slapped on your face right at the end of the movie)!
8/10 Highly recommended.

The ending was dumb as, the movie just gave me the shits. They didnt even explore the background behind the problem at all.... 4/10

From the individual reviews, people either hate it or love it. Agreed the ending was dumb! Spoiler alert!!! He took the desicion too quickly. Could stuck there for a while, hungry, weak, no escape etc then make that horrible desicion. It took him 1 min after the gas finished.

watched it last night, fell asleep before the ending
thought it was stupid...
mist with aliens in it LOL.... childish?
