Thread: Stone (2010)

This is not the worst film you will ever see, but its far from great either.
Class Actors, Bobby, and a personal favorite of mine Edward Norton.

In many ways it did remind me of 'Monster's Ball', had the same sort of feeling to it. But in no way is it comparable in story/acting.

I can not bag the acting, as by all accounts its fine (as you would expect) its just the story whilst there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, I found myself somehow disappointed overall with it. In fact, for me it was one of those films that just had me watching long enough to get through the entire thing.

I liked the fact that it questions certain beliefs about Prisoners being judged by people that may in fact not be so perfect themselves (as is the case in this film), and was really impressed by Nortons dialogue about this (this could have been the central theme to the film if done right) but it seemed to focus on several things all at the same time, which made it somewhat confusing.




You may or may not like this one.
