![]() | Have a toshiba tecra A6 that has wireless, got it working at home, I took it to a friends house to connect to a belkin wireless router it shows that it is connected however IE & firefox don't work. When I looked at the network status it has a different IP range. It is configured to obtain IP automatically, even when I manually configure the IP settings it still comes up with the old settings from home. It's got me beat, any takers? What to do? |

![]() | If I remember right you can have windows control the wireless and then you can have some other software doing the job (like some Toshiba software) I have had this a lot on some Acer laptops LOL you think you are going crazy ![]()

But doesn't explain the IP settings going back to the home settings ![]() I am sure he has another program controlling the wireless side of things,he needs to set it so windows manages the wireless settings ![]()
