| Junior Member | Download the firmware from D-Link Support for the DI-524 (Revision B) as rob advised earlier - unplug power - hold reset button down and plug power back in after 5 seconds - continue holding button for further 5 seconds - Set Static IP on your PC LAN adapter - 192.168.0.5 should be fine.. Subnet 255.255.255.0 and Gateway 192.168.0.1 - Try log in to device http://192.168.0.1 - it should display a Recovery mode page.. load the firmware you downloaded to it. - Once complete, set LAN back to obtain IP and DNS to Auto Obtain and check to see if you receive an IP from the router. Power cycle for 5 seconds if you still can't to determine. if this fails email rma@dlink.com.au and advise them of your troubleshooting steps and request for an RMA. |
