Default Slow DD-WRT

Hi All,

I've got a Linksys WRT 54GL which I flashed with DD-WRT v23r2 about a year ago but haven't used since. I connected it today and was SLOW!!!!
Internet speed of 64kbits/sec. I'm on ADSL2 and and when I plug directly into my adsl2 modem I get 4MBit/s.

I upgraded to v24r1, thinking that this was a bug with v23 and its still the same. Any ideas on improving performance or returning it back to Linksys original firmware.

Thanks
Xray

Well no one replied and I eventually nutted it out myself. So I thought I might add the solution here in case others have the same problem.

It turns out that DD-WRT has QOS enabled as deault but with no settings. Therefore nothing was getting through. This made it extremely difficult even to talk to the router due to the slowness of speed. Solution was to switch off QOS in my case, or if required to set it up correctly.

Thanks

Xray
