7402LM IP Release

Could someone please tell me how i can release my IP address to get a new one on my 7402LM. I want to get a new IP address if possible and saw a web page telling how and said if you had a modem router you had to release http://whatismyipaddress.com/staticp...-my-ip-address

I also saw MAC Address spoofing i dont know hat that means or does but will this do something i need to do?

Do you want to release your internal or external address?
your link doesn't work.
No you will not need to know about MAC spoofing or addressing.

I want to release my external address and get a new one, this is the one from my ISP. And try this link hope it works, What Is My IP Address? - How do I change my IP address?

That website shows how to release/renew your Internal IP address that your computer uses.

Usually disconnecting and re-connectiong the power to your modem for about 30 seconds to a minute will update your external IP.
Thats if you dont have a set Static address from your ISP.
