Can't Get Into D-Link :( - Page 2

i've got a DSL-G604T and cannot fault it mate!

ok to fix this, try going into admin page>HOME>select WAN tab>try changing connection type to PPPoA VC Mux or PPPoE LLC(whichever isnt selected)

I was put onto this by my ISP(internode) as when it tries to find a connection and fails to do so, it flashes the ADSL light and basically locks out the router from connecting.

By changing the connection type it seems to refresh and connect...voila all solved.

Dunno how or why, but this worked for me, give it a try.

Yeah I'm with you Mick.
Got the same router and have had no probs.
Had a 504T before that and tried setting that up at my neighbours place over the weekend and couldn't get the friggin thing to work.
Then rang their ISP helpline and they suggested exactly what you just typed here, select PPPoA VC instead of PPPoE LLC and presto, it worked!

best4less, do you have your browser configered to use proxy?

It has the options for direct,auto and manual

And it is set to direct
The other computer is setup for auto

Should i be changing something in there ???

In Internet Options - Connections Tab - Lan Settings it shouldn't be any proxy check box checked. Only automatic detection enabled.
I had problems at work accessing as I had connection via proxy checked.
