guys i bought a new 3.5 hd media player with lan
works great but, when i go to watch it, it turns off if lan cables connected.
tryed it with pc on and off
unplug the lan its all cool
uses this NDAS software?
even unmounted,does same thing.
any ideas?
can i put a on\off switch in the lan cable?

It is faulty, or your cable is faulty, or you have an earth loop.

Sounds serious, and not normal.

try a crossover cable to PC ?

shame
its still good, just a frig unpluggin lan cable wen u wanna use it.

Reply Comment : MP36N can not stream video from PC, the only way is copy the video into the MP36N hard disk, the play the video direct from MP36N. there is only one CPU inside MP36N, video player function not able to work when LAN function is working. so after the LAN cable connected, then video play stopped. if you need to play video, you need to plug out the LAN cable.
