Default map network drive without a password

ive just reformated my main machine and now have a slight problem
i have my main computer which i store all my movies n shit on and another comp i have hooked up to the tv.
before i reinstalled windows on the main computer i could transfer files to the telly comp via mapped network drive, and also the tv comp had no password so when i turned it on i didnt have to piss around typing shit into it, it just started up.
now to get the telly comp i need to type a password in, and thus have to have one on the telly comp, which i dont want.
can anyone help me figure out how i had that setup so i could have no password on the telly comp and still be able to access the mapped drives on it from my main comp?

what OS you are using on both PC's? if they are vista or windows7 , try to configure the advanced sharing setting, turn password sharing off, and enable folders share.
try the following command from RUN
    net use X: \\server\share password /user:username
example like this net use x: \\tellycomp\password /usersiris777
    see how you go
    cheers

If you are still having issues add "everyone" with read/write permissions to the security settings of the drive.
