Proxim YDI AMP2440 bi-directional amp

Does anyone have any service info for these 2.4 GHz 4 watt amps?

I have two circuit boards here out of them, but I want to know how they are mounted in the cases for heatsinking purposes.

Alternatively if someone has one that they can take the cover off and do some pics I'd appreciate it.

The circuit boards don't seem to have any particular area for heatsinking, or any real signs of where they'd be bolted to.

I purchased a few YDI 2441 1Watt modules from the states and they work great. The ones you have are 400MW units ,not 4 watts. They require no heatsink.Just put some n connectors on them and mount them in a metal jiffy box. Great amps.

I have just discovered that they are in fact 2441 modules, not 2440 types.

Did you need to heatsink your ones?

No heatsink required ....I have had my units working for the past 12 months.
