![]() | Hi, I own a Bigpond wireless broadband mobile card and USB version too, which I use on my laptop when travelling. My 12 month contract ends in a few weeks. The bigpond plan I was on was an absolute rip off ($34.95 / month / 10 hrs). I would still like to have the option to use wireless when travelling without the rip off contract. I have read a few ads on eBay claiming that there is a trick to using a prepaid Next G simcard to avoid being stuck with a contract. Here a link to one of the claims : Bigpond telstra next g USB wireless modem ON PRE PAID - eBay Other Wireless Modems, Wireless, Modems, Computers. (end time 09-Aug-08 20:29:28 AEST) Can anyone verify if there is any truth to this claim and if so reveal any further info (or what the trick is) on how it can be done. Cheers, NASA |
