FTA terrestrial or satellite?
IF terrestrial, you can buy a decoder that receives both satellite and SD terrestrial channels (not HD ones), Select TV offer such a decoder, or you can buy one aftermarket.

If on the other hand the desire is to add FTA satellite channels located on the same satellite as SelecTV (eg ERI), OR on Optus D2 (Russia Today, NHK World, Press TV) and Optus C1 (AL Jazeera International, NITV, TVSN EXPO), then the answer is 'yes' it can be done.

A 2 or 3-way LNB holder is fitted to the dish, each LNB is then aligned for maximum quality from its respective satellite.

ok mates, i am self taught and a beginner. Hope the dust has settled.
my receiver is a humax 5400z and it has been +cam, bought it as such. The dish is an ex foxtel and i am receiving channels that are only free, the dish has a two way LNB holder and a diseqc, i understand that the diseqc acts like an electronic switch, correct me if i am wrong.
The LNBs are aligned to optus d2 and intelsat8. In the antenna settings the LNBs are set at 11300. The frequencies for the broadcasters are set as stated within lyngsat- 12734hz UBI world TV, 12706hz and 12734hz Global cast, there are individual antenna settings for the two Global cast braodcasters as they are broadcastingand free channels on different frequencies.
i am receiving form Intelsat8; Ktv, Bethel tv, Syria sat and Otv, however Future news is not being received. (i have placed these settings for Future news, freq. 12656hz, V pol, s/r 28066 fec 3/4, pidV 528, pidA 770, pcr pid auto -dont know the value), the message i receive is that Future News is scrambled, confusion say, why is that so. I would appreciate some assistance to figure out this issue.

on D2 i am receiving Free channels and too many to mention, however each broadcaster would have individual antenna settings due to the frequencies that were associated with the free channels.
i hope this answers the questions, iam not sure what more i could add, however ask.
