Help Needed Firmware Problems

Am fairly new to the Satellite scene but am not completly useless, have put the 4.99 v2 upgrade on Dreamax 480 am getting bad picture freeze.Am not sure what is meant in other forum about it is only good for a kick start, does this mean that the current firmware in box is still ok after kick starting card on 4.99 , or is there another version i need??
Also is there anything out there for the supernet 488 and the Arion AF3330, have read that firmware pre March is ok for them , would this be correct??

Hi Grind, the 4.99 fix was to be used to start your sleeping card, so that you could use in another box with the appropriate firmware to prevent auto updates.

Basically you need to get your card reprogrammed because you are using the D480, or supernet or Arion. Once this has been done it will work fine.

Is there any other way around this or is updating card something that i Could do, I beleive my seller got a free set of silver braclets to wear and free accommodation not to sure when he'll be back

hey guys, been long time reader / experimenter, however i've come to the point where i am confused to why the Supernet 488a will not work with an updated whitey? 2 cards tested in an Openox X810 work fine, however neither work in the Supernet.

Does it require a f/w update or any modding?

On the tail end of the threat Supernet 488a locked to 1 card thread there is a new update been posted there not yet tried it as still have to get card updated,
