Default Fox dish, and LNB

i have a dish lying around with a crapy fox LNB its a sharp Ku band,

my question is can i use this LNB pointed at Intel sat to get Free to air????

the reason for my confusion is the two plugs going into the LNB, if i can use how do i wire up? or am i better off getting a new LNB????

Sounds like the standard Dual output Sharp LNB.

They are commonly used for dual-tuner boxes. eg: IQ, or for two separate receivers, so if you only need to connect one single-input receiver, just use one of the LNB outputs (either one, they have identical output) and cover the unused port with some tape.

Yes, you could use it for any satellite Ku Band signals that can be received from your location. Note, this does not include FTA networks such as Nine, Ten, 7 etc. They can be received, but are encrypted on Foxtel (C1) so they are not FTA.

If you are referring to Intelsat 8, there isn't a great deal of FTA on it.

Check out what's available on LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite

Depends on which channels. Foxtel/Austar/Aurora are on C1. Selectv is on IS8

As I mentioned, LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite shows you what's on where.
