Need advice from experienced people
This satellite strikes my fancy and just wondering if its available for me to actually receive channels from it
place of residence:Perth
ISDB - encryption
Satellite name/s: BSAT 3A / HD BSAT 2C /
Also N-Sat 110 looks good too
I've Linked a few sites which have satellite information
but i just want to make sure before i get ahead of myself.
If it works please give suggestions into what equipment i should look into for my area
Thanks in advance Mike

Hi Maike,
There are basically two bands which carry signals that you can watch tv with on sat - C Band and Ku band. Those channels I think you are looking at are Ku which are usually intended for domestic use only in a country, so you won't get them in Perth. They are received with the smaller, solid types of dishes eg foxtel dishes.
C band is for international channels, which are received with the larger 2m plus mesh dishes you see around Perth. There is plenty to see with c-band from overseas.
If you look at you will get an idea of what you can see - a lot of the sats have a coverage map which will show you what you can get in Oz/Perth.

Assuming you mean Perth WA.....
All those sats appear to only have Japan beams.
If that's the case, you won't receive them in Perth.
