You will have to give a little bit of information on what you are trying to achieve.

Why not just get Foxtel hooked up again?

Your dish is currently pointed at Optus C1/D3. At the moment there are a few FTA channels. The main useful ones are Aljazeea, NITV and ABC3. There are a couple of info mercial channels, EXPO and TVSN. Also you get the odd feed channel like a sporting event that's televised or I think it was the Cold Chisel concert that was televised via the feed recently.

All this on a foxtel dish but you can a few more channels if you get another dish (and connect together with a diseqc switch or move your current dish.

There is also Aurora that has some of the comercial channels and there are details around to make a card.

    Question

Basically trying to get a card set up for foxtel. Where do I look on how to set these up? Don't really care about FTA channels. Happy to get box and card, but do you have to keep these up to date?

Those days are well-and-truly gone - the only way to get Foxtel today is by subscribing .
