help needed to get grandkids off my back

I have a bali Wii with a wii-key installed and it needs updating but it wont accept any updates .
I have tried all the wii-key 1.9s updates padded and un padded and still no go so I am assuming my wiikey is a clone .

my question is do you guys know if or where I can buy a ntsc-u wii-key
or some one with a way of reprograming it or can i install a pal wii-key and do a ntsc -u update .
any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Slightly off topic, but how much and where did you get your Wii in Bali?

The WiiKey is the same for all regions, its just the firmware disk that you install it with that changes. If yours is a US Wii, you will need to use the US 1.9s update disk to upgrade it. You will also have issues with some PAL games working on that console, the same as PAL users have issues with the US and JAP NTSC copies. Here is the US version of the update
