Default Blue Screen Of Death Vista Ultimate

Ok my computer has been working fine and last night i fell asleep with the tv on woke up middle of the night and with the remote to the tv card put the system in standby.I woke up in the morning and moved the mouse and it blue screened on me and the computer resets.Just after the vista logo it blue screens.....It boots in to safe mode and i did system restore to two days ago when the computer was operating fine however it still blue screens after the vista logo...

the error msg i get once im in safe mode is roughly this message i cant be sure as i didn't copy it down but this is the message i remember.

Files that help describe the problem (some files may no longer be available)
    Mini042008-02.dmp
    sysdata.xml
    Version.txt

ill post the real error msg when i get home but im dumbfounded why system restore wont work??

Someone recommended clearing the CMOS should i do this?

I don't think thats going to help

It sounds like a driver problem
I had this happen with a wireless network card

in safe mode go to device manager and uninstall the TV card and if it ask you if you wont to delete the driver say Yes

then restart and see if it loads vista

If what DND said doesn't work for you, try to remove your TV card and restart your computer and see if that works champ.
