Default Help locate a Recovery CD or Vista Home CD

I have a mates laptop here that its Windows Vista install is dead. I want to locate either the product recovery ISO or a Vista Home Basic ISO. He bought it 2nd hand and never thought about getting the original CDs from the people.

The laptop is an Acer Extensa 5220, and come pre loaded with Vista Home Basic.

I tried the Acer website for anything and no luck. So i'm hoping someone around has either they can share or point to somewhere that I can download them from.

Oh, well that will make it easier then. I thought there was a difference from premium to home versions.

5220 was the free laptop from the getskills course. should be someone around who can make a copy from their laptop.
